https://www.ejurnal.stitnafistabalong.ac.id/index.php/annafis/article/view/163

This study explores the conceptual synthesis between Islamic leadership based on the principles of rahmatan lil 'alamin (mercy for the universe) and the servant leadership theory proposed by Robert Greenleaf. This study is positioned as an academic response to the limitations of the conventional leadership paradigm in mitigating ethical crises, sustainability, and social welfare in the era of disruption. Using a qualitative approach with a library research design, data were collected purposively from primary and secondary literature, including texts of the Qur'an, Hadith, the thoughts of classical and contemporary scholars, and current discourses on modern organizational management. Through comparative-conceptual analysis and narrative synthesis, this study dissects the exemplary values (uswah hasanah) of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and ten characteristics of servant leadership to map the intersection of values, ontological differences, and potential normative-practical synergies. The findings indicate that rahmatan lil 'alamin provides a theological-ethical anchor that emphasizes universal compassion, justice, and transcendental accountability to Allah SWT. Conversely, servant leadership offers a powerful psychological-organizational instrument related to empathy and constituent empowerment. Although both models demonstrate substantive convergence in the dimensions of service and the promotion of human dignity, they have fundamental divergences in their sources of legitimacy and teleological orientation (achieving God's pleasure versus secular human flourishing). Reconciling these two schools of thought produces a hybrid leadership model that positions the leader in a dualistic way: as both a servant of God ('abd) and a servant of the people (khadim). This construct is highly relevant for implementation in contemporary Muslim organizations—such as Islamic financial institutions, Islamic educational institutions, and public bureaucracies—to strengthen a work culture of compassion, moral accountability, and social sustainability
Mahdavikia Izzulhaq

The development of students aged 7–8 years represents a crucial stage that determines the success of the learning process and subsequent personality formation. This study aims to comprehensively describe the developmental characteristics of second-grade students at SDN 060877, covering psychomotor, cognitive, moral, spiritual, intellectual, and emotional aspects. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as two days of structured observation, in-depth interviews with class teachers and parents, a review of student development records, and a literature review of relevant educational books and journals. Data analysis involved data reduction, presentation in narrative form, and drawing conclusions supported by field evidence and theory. The results indicate that students exhibit increasingly skilled fine and gross motor development, logical thinking abilities regarding concrete objects, an understanding of moral values based on rules and rewards, and spiritual awareness encompassing knowledge, practice, and internalization of religious values. Furthermore, they demonstrate high curiosity, simple problem-solving skills, and the ability to recognize feelings, although emotional regulation still requires guidance. A deep understanding of these characteristics serves as a vital foundation for teachers in designing learning strategies that align with the children's developmental stages.
Ramadan LubisAudi Fajrian Ahmad HasibuanArif Maulana HakimAyatullah TelaumbanuaMuhammad Naufal

Young children’s screen use has become a routine part of family life, making parental management and school–family support increasingly important. This study examined parents’ needs and readiness for school-based parenting education on screen-use management at TK Al Amin Banjarbaru. A descriptive quantitative, cross-sectional survey was conducted with 225 parents or guardians of children aged 5–6 years. A 20-item, five-point Likert questionnaire covered four domains: child screen-use risk indicators, parental screen-management practices, parenting education needs and baseline literacy, and readiness for school-based parenting education. Descriptive analysis showed low child screen-use risk indicators (M = 2.10). After reverse-coding the two risk-oriented parental items, parental screen-management practices were high (M = 4.16), particularly for content monitoring (M = 4.32) and household rules (M = 4.31). Parents showed a selective need profile: demand for alternative non-screen activities was high (M = 3.85), while the need for direct screen-time guidance was moderate (M = 3.36). Readiness for school-based parenting education was high (M = 4.06), including strong support for school–parent collaboration (M = 4.19). The findings support the planning of practical, school-facilitated parenting education, but they do not establish intervention effectiveness. Future implementation should be followed by process and outcome evaluation.
Aspiya AzizaNurwidyani Dwi PutriMayang Nabila
